Negative:
"I don't understand why Oprah is supposed to be so great. Every interview I've seen her do, she interupts her guest. She never lets peple finish what they're saying & it's really annoying. That's why I haven't watched her in years."
Counteracting the negative:
Clearly, interupting people is a flaw that everyone has. Interupting is simply a part of a convrsation, and if someone doesn't interupt, people tend to ramble. So props to ya O!

Everyone needs inspiration
Even Oprah had to evolve from something. The first person who truly ever believed in her was her fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Benton. Oprah said she felt shiny in the eyes of her teacher, who always told her how Oprah was the smartest little girl she had ever met.
Oprah's inspirational deeds
Who doesn't love a saint? Oprah, to me, in many ways, is a saint. Yeah, she jokes around and knows how to have fun, but she truly understands the signifigance of all of the world's issues. She par takes highly in helping the wants and needs of children in Africa, and gives her money away to many charities. This is something that is very honorable to me, as well as just the genuine sincerity she shows toward guests. A lot of the things she has said and I have read quoted from her are inspirational and oracular. Such as: "Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody's going to know whether you did it or not."

Oprah was rejected from a detention center to the the over-population it suffered, so she was sent to live with her father. This turned out to be a positive factor in her life. Suffereing poverty was a common happening in the proletarian's life. Oprah's parents were dovorced and she lived with her grandmother for a large sum of her childhood. But Oprah also suffered through molestation and rape by friends and family members. At nine, her older cousin had raped her, and throughout her childhood years was molested by a male friend of her mother's and by her uncle. She never told anyone about this until she reached success, and instead rebelled and ran away, which resulted in her entering a detention center, but there wasn't any room for her, so she didn't have to. She was sent to her father's to live, and she eventually got a job at a radio station as a host. She soon became an anchor woman for a local news show. Ratings skyrocketed and she soon became what she is known for today, the richest and most influential, powerful women in America, and in other nations as well.
Born January 29, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Oprah Winfrey was given the name Orpah Gail Winfrey, by Vernita and Vernon Winfrey. Friends and neighbors mixed her the r and the p and began referring to her as Oprah, which she soon made her name. She doesn't have any full-blood siblings, but it is said that she may have one half sister, Patricia, and a stepbrother, Jeffrey.
